Will I need to use gas?

No. All of our systems use the latest methods of dispensing beverages. An in-built compressor removes the need for expensive bottled gas which can be dangerous if used incorrectly. Bottled gas also needs to be stored correctly and may need to meet extra health and safety laws dependent on the venue.

What If I don’t use a keg I have bought from you?

Once we supply the Keg we do not give any refunds for any unused kegs. Please make sure you order the right quantity of keg you require for your function.

Do I get to keep the keg after it has been used?

No. We must take the keg back when we pick up the dispenser so please try to use all your keg. Any part filled kegs will be taken back on the day of collection.

Do you provide a glass hire service?

No. We can supply you with disposable plastic. Please visit our extra’s page for more information.

When hiring, do I need to set up the equipment?

No, if all the requirements are in place (dedicated socket, appropriate location etc) we will set everything up for you at any function. We will have everything ready to pour your first pint within 5 minutes after setting up, and will test the system to ensure you are receiving the best possible temperature and flow of draught. We will also instruct you on how to change the keg should it be necessary.

If I have a problem upon hiring, can I get support?

In the unlikely event that you have a problem after we have left the premises, please contact us directly via phone. Due to our experience in the industry, the majority of technical problems can be quickly solved this way.

Can I supply my own keg and just hire the equipment?

Yes. The price of our kegs are very competitive however if there is a specialty beverage you are looking for, please get in contact with us.

When hiring, if I damage the dispenser will I have to pay for it?

We have a disclaimer which the client must sign before we allow the dispenser to be used. This states that the dispenser is the responsibility of the customer whilst it is being used by the customer and that Kegs To Go will be fully reimbursed for any damage/loss/theft of our dispensers. The disclaimer also states that the equipment will not be leased to anybody under the age of 18, and if the alcohol is to be sold, it is the responsibility of the customer to hold the correct license.

Do I have to pay an deposit when hiring your equipment out?

Yes. The deposit amount depends on the equipment hired. A refund will be given once dispenser is collected.

Will the delivery time depend on the kind of keg I hire?

Yes, we can source most kegs & will offer you a fair price. However, we will need notice for specialist kegs. Please note that still wines are ordered on request and will require 2 weeks for delivery.

Can my keg be installed anywhere?

Yes. We just need one 13 amp socket & we will take care of installation.

Can you deliver kegs to anywhere?

Yes. We can deliver anywhere subject to delivery charge.

Is a keg suitable for my event?

A keg always goes down a treat! We have delivered to weddings, festivals, Corporate events, birthday parties and pubs and we are always well received!

How many pints are there in one standard beer keg?

Roughly 88 pints in a 11 gallon keg.

How many bottles of wine are there in a 20L keykeg?

There are 26 bottles in a 20L keykeg.

Do you provide ice cubes?

Yes. We also provide ice cubes and ice machines.

Do you require a deposit for securing a booking?

No. We require payment in full before the event date paid via Cash or bank transfer.

What are the payment options?

Payment is Cash or bank transfer only. We do not accept credit/debit cards or cheques.

Do I need a license to buy a keg of beer?

We have a license to sell to you but as long as you are not selling the beer ,cider or lager you do not require a license.

Are there any age restrictions for hiring?

Yes. The customer hiring the equipment should be 18 or over. Photographic evidence (e.g: driver license or passport) is required when hiring a Mobile bar or dispenser.

Do you submit applications for alcohol licenses for mobile bars?

We arrange all liquor licenses. To do this we require prior notice before your event. All licensing hours are tailored to suit your event!

What is your cancellation policy

In the event of a cancelled forward booking less than 14 days prior to the delivery date for the hire, 50% of the lost hire charges will be payable by the hirer to the owner. Any cancellations within 7 days prior to the delivery date for the hire will be charged at the full rate.
